After the great success of Our Moments 1, which was nominated for the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) early 2009 for best educational documentary, the programme was re-commissioned for a second season.
The second season focused on historic events such as, South Africa winning the Africa Cup of Nations in 1996, the xenophobia attacks in 2008, the Bisho massacre and many more moments that shaped us as a nation.
